Our patient-centred approach
Seamless integration into daily routines is a non-negotiable. Meaningful solutions are ones that suit your needs.
We work closely with you, listening to your experiences and feedback. We continuously improve our products, shaping our technology around your reality.
For clinicians, this means a clinically and user validated tool, carefully refined to improve patient compliance and designed to be confidently worn as long as recovery requires.

Care led by engineering
We want to care for you and improve your life with our engineering and biomechanical skills.
Mechanical principles are used to analyze the body's functions. We design refined and high-quality technologies that follow the user’s movements and physiology.
Our first device, Flexa, provides effective lower back support while promoting correct posture and body mechanics.

Our values and culture
We do what is right—even when no one is watching.
We hold ourselves to high standards, from idea to execution.
We love challenging the status quo to create forward-thinking technologies.
We listen with care and carry out tasks with people in mind.
We build purposeful solutions by working together across disciplines and with those we serve.
We understand the burden of persistent pain and are committed to lighten it.

Helping people enjoy life to the fullest starts
with rethinking how technology can support recovery and with this comes truly understanding the day-to-day reality of living with persistent pain.

Our founders bring a uniquely technical and deeply personal perspective to Fulcra. Maria lives with chronic conditions and knows how frustrating it can be. She understands to what extent it takes to simply function day-to-day. Roseline has witnessed firsthand the long-term impact of persistent lower back pain. She saw her father's quality of life slowly decline during his construction career due to lower back pain.
As they learnt more about how inappropriate existing technologies are for long-term lower back pain, negatively impacting the body by restricting movement, they were immediately compelled to act.
Drawing from their degrees in mechanical engineering, powered by their personal experiences, they use their skills and passion to innovate technology that improves everyday life for those suffering from repetitive lower back pain—empowering instead of restricting.
